SnakeBud is a 16-step AUv3 MIDI Sequencer featuring a 4x4 grid that allows users to set note, gate, velocity, and probability values for each step, along with the ability to toggle them on and off. With 56 snake patterns for sequencing in a 2-dimensional grid, SnakeBud offers a unique approach compared to one-directional sequencers, providing 56 different sequences within the same grid.
Additionally, SnakeBud boasts a music theory engine offering 40+ scales that can be easily changed from the settings menu. Users can lock notes within a scale and modify the scale even while the sequencer is running. The app also includes a randomizer feature to randomize notes, snake patterns, or all parameters simultaneously.
